Are you interested to know the twist hair products review? If yes then read this post.
Ouidad has introduced a new haircare range called Twist, which bases its products on the amount of moisture in the hair. This demonstrates that there is, in fact, something suitable for each and every type of curl, which is a rare occurrence given that lightweight moisture is typically not even on the radar of companies who manufacture twist hair care products for curly hair care. In this post, I provide a review of the Essential Moisture line that is sold by Twist and describe the basic three-product routine that I adhere to in order to maintain defined curls.
List Of Twist Hair Care Products
Here is a list of the best twist hair care products. Let’s have a look.
Hit Reset Light Clarifying Shampoo
The Hit Reset shampoo appealed to me since my hair liked being cleared, and when I saw that it was lightweight, I believed that I would be able to use it on a daily basis. In my experience, it has a clarifying effect that ranges from light to medium and does not cause my hair to get dry. It produces a pleasant lather and, all in all, does a good job of washing my hair.
This shampoo contains a light sulfate in addition to other light cleansing agents, panthenol to strengthen the cuticle and add shine, hydrolyzed rice protein for strength and moisture retention, and a mix of humectants, emollients, and other conditioning agents for lightweight hydration.
Weather Up Gel Weightless Curl Defining Gel
In my experience, the Weather Up Gel is the twist hair care product that most closely resembles a copycat of the Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Gel.
This gel lives up to its name by delivering on its promise to define and block humidity, and it does so almost as well as the Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Stronger Hold.
Weather Or Not Element Defying Conditioner
It sounded like the Weather or Not conditioner would be just what I needed for my hair. My hair desperately requires a lightweight conditioner that is specially created to protect against the damaging effects of the environment and the elements. The majority of the issues I have with twist hair care products stem from the fact that although I do not require nearly as much moisture as other people do, I do require protection against humidity, and the product in question must be as lightweight as possible. Florida has a humid climate for almost the entire year.
Are Twist Products Clean Or “Non-Toxic”?
When comparing these three items, the aroma is the one significant drawback. However, it is not extremely potent, which makes it superior to even other “clean” types of curly hair products. Mineral oil, petroleum, parabens, phthalates, harsh sulfates, and insoluble silicones are not included in any of their products in any capacity. They are one of the best options for a cleaner that you can find in drugstores, and despite their low cost, they come highly recommended.
Twist Essential Moisture Line
Essential Moisture, Extra Moisture, and Ultimate Moisture are the three product lines that are available from Twist hair care products. Because my hair is usually having problems with having too much moisture, I decided to go with the Essential Moisture line, which is the most lightweight of the three. This product line is said to offer “weightless moisture that keeps curls hydrated,” according to the product description. I did end up doing their Hair Quiz, and based on the results of that, I was also advised to go with this line.
Wrapping Up
I was pleasantly surprised at how well these Twist hair care products did for my hair. It’s so great to have an option for curls that need less moisture as there are very few drugstore options for my hair type. I loved how well the products worked and that my style lasted as long as usual.
